Translational Neuropsychiatry Unit, Aarhus University

The Translational Neuropsychiatry Unit (TNU) at Aarhus University conducts research in translational neuropsychiatry, with a particular emphasis on human and animal experimental studies.

TNU fosters an interdisciplinary collaborative research environment, ensuring productive research interactions with clinical psychiatric research departments at Aarhus University Hospital Psychiatry.

Our research spans from basic neurobiological investigations to clinically oriented studies of neuropsychiatric disorders.

Our overarching objective is to advance understanding of brain neurobiology and to facilitate the development of novel therapeutics, specifically targeting mood and psychotic disorders.

TNU operates within the Department of Clinical Medicine at Aarhus University and is situated in the Forum building at Aarhus University Hospital in Skejby.
