A TNU Affiliated PI (API) is typically an AU researcher with a permanent position and with a close research collaboration with one or more TNI CORE PI (e.g. through joint grants/research centres, shared facilities, student supervision). The affiliation is expected to strengthen strategic infrastructures and research fields (or expertise) that are of key importance to TNU. The API should contribute to the TNU working environment by supporting integrated activities between the groups (TNU and the API), development of collaborative work and training/supervision of students and staff.
