About TNU

Translational Neuropsychiatry Unit, AU

TNU carries out translational neuropsychiatric research, particularly focusing on human and animal experimental studies. TNU furthermore provides an interdisciplinary collaborative research environment ensuring fruitful research interaction with the clinical psychiatric research departments in Aarhus. Our research ranges from basic neurobiological science to clinically oriented investigation of neuropsychiatric disorders.

Our overall goal is to understand the brain neurobiology and to facilitate development of new therapeutics, particularly targeting mood and psychotic disorders.

Translational Neuropsychiatry Unit (TNU) is part of Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, and is located in the Forum building at Aarhus University Hospital in Skejby.
