Anthony Vernon Joins TNU as Honorary Skou Professor
The Faculty of Health at Aarhus University has appointed Professor Anthony Vernon from King’s College London as an Honorary Skou Professor at TNU, strengthening international collaboration in neurobiology and mental health research.
A total of 13 leading international researchers are welcomed as Honorary Skou Professors by the Faculty of Health, Aarhus University.
These distinguished scholars will help strengthen the faculty’s position as a global hub for research and education.
To support his integration into the academic environment at Aarhus University, Associate Professor Annie Landau will serve as Anthony Vernon's champion.
Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of hosting Anthony Vernon for a seminar at Aarhus University Hospital, titled “Using hiPSC to Illuminate the Neurobiology of Mental Health.”
His visit strengthened his collaboration with Annie Landau and laid the foundation for new projects and knowledge exchange across our entire research community.
The official celebration and induction of Anthony Vernon, together with 12 other newly appointed Honorary Skou Professors, will take place in Autumn 2026.
We look forward to formally welcoming Anthony Vernon to TNU and to further strengthening our collaboration.
